It was so freezing!!!

Ok so today was freezing and windy! I'm thinking not a good day to run. But.....Kim answered her phone and said she was driving and she would meet me at the school. YIKES!! Now I have to get dressed and pry myself from the woodstove. She called me a Fair weather runner. I couldn't believe anyone in their right mind would run in weather like we have had today. She was there waiting when I got there. As soon as I my feet hit the pavement she was like "Let's Go!!" We walked 3 minutes ran two today. I did better then the first day. Lasted a little longer running this time. Against the wind at first. Looking forward to the wind to push us back. Not !!more like push us sideways. She is very encouraging and pushes me to keep going. All I can think about is myself and just breathing and staying alive. Kim however, is running and commenting on how it's a beautiful day, how she loves the sound of the leaves, and wants me to check out the leaves in a whirlwind. WHAT!! All I'm looking forward to is her telling me I can now walk to catch my breath. Or run to whatever landmark she gives. I totally get the mommy minutes now. You know how they seem like eternity to kids when we tell them a minute. (sorry CJ) I couldn't wait till a minute was up. When the first minute went by it felt fast but, geezy peezy the second minute felt like eternity. 30 seconds for the matter. I'm picking up my mom's treadmill that way I can run inside for days like this. I have to buy Kim some dog tags. Can't have a drill Sargent without tags. After we stretched when we got back to our cars. I said thank you and you wanna know what she said ........She said "PLEASURE" You think? Can't wait till Tuesday.........

My thought for today is...when your eyes are on yourself it makes it that much harder!!
